RamsXpress

Launched in August 2025, our point-to-point shuttle service, RamsXpress, provides direct transportation between VCU's two downtown campuses with stops at central locations. 

The shuttle services the following locations (*updated August 2026):

• Cabell Library (at the corner of Cathedral Place and Floyd Avenue)
• Larrick Student Center (at the corner of N. 9th Street and Turpin Street)
• 11th and Clay Street
• 8th and Franklin Street
• 8th and Main Street

The shuttle runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and allows the VCU community to travel between campuses within 10 to 15 minutes. These stops are not duplicative of current GRTC service locations.

Students are able to track the RamsXpress shuttle in real time using the Ride Pingo app.
